New Funding Strategy Launches 10 New Programs and Eliminates “Chapter Model”

Due to several program modifications and a new funding strategy to launch more SCL programs nationwide, SCL will now have programs in 10 new areas, with more programs added in 2010. All applicants are required to pay a $25 application fee, financial guidelines have been expanded, and approved participant contributions have increased to $500 per participant, with a limited amount of donor-subsidized slots available in each community.
