KC Cares, a radio show that focuses on helping Kansas City’s NPOs, recently featured local orthodontist Dr. Dustin Burleson as well as our very own Melanie Johnston (SCL’s Director of Marketing) in their podcast! The segment, which aired on ESPN 1510 as well as online, features weekly guests from local nonprofit organizations. Hosted by KC Creative board member Bill Brandmeyer, the radio show helps to raise awareness for small to mid-sized nonprofits as well as inform the Kansas City community about upcoming events. This week, Melanie and Dr. B were on air to discuss to the mission of Smiles Change Lives, the importance of orthodontic care for low income families, and our current opening in Kansas City.
